Eurosonic-showcase for Fatima Spar

After the band did a showcase at the Womex in Seville last October now Fatima Spar and theFreedom Fries are selected for a showcase at the Eurosonic festival on january 15th in Groningen, Holland . The band will be available for new dates in May 2009.

De nieuwe clip van De Altijd Aparte Nederlander is "He Hallo" genaamd en wordt erg goed ontvangen. De officiele release vindt plaats op 25 augustus op www.nu.nl en TMF heeft inmddels toegezegd de clip op de playlist te zetten. Een hoopvolle start voor de eerste clip van de band die zich in radioland gesteund weet door Rob Stenders en Frits Spits!

Amsterdam Klezmer Band to India

The Amsterdam Klezmer Band has been invited by Mundial Productions to go to India for a musical exchange. This will happen in 2009. More news on the exact date will follow soon.........

Fatima Spar at Oerol and Mundial

Fatima Spar und die Freedom Fries will perform 2 shows at the Groene Strand during the Oerol Festival on June 13 and 14. The next day they will perform at the Mundial festival in Tilburg. Make sure you don't miss it!!!!

Franz von Chossy Trio at North Sea Jazz

The Franz von Chossy trio was invited by the North Sea Jazz festival to do a concert on July the 12th. In 2006 Franz did win the Dutch Jazz Competition at this festival for best composer and soloist.

De Altijd Aparte Nederlander releaseparty (DUTCH)

Ze presenteerden op 14 juni hun debuutalbum in een bomvol Poppodium Romein in Leeuwarden. Het dak ging er af en de reacties waren overweldigend van zowel de bezoekers als de critici. De band speelde overtuigend en deed dit de volgende 2 dagen op oerol weer. Beelden van de releaseparty zullen spoedig online staan.
